LIVE WEB BROADCASTING

Successful communication is often dependant on the timing of its delivery. And when real-time delivery of messages is required, live webcasting (or streaming) can be the most effective way to reach your audiences. Until now, the distribution of live video via the internet has relied on traditional broadcast technology. This means big budgets. Zut Live has invested in the latest technology to help reduce the cost of web broadcast and make it more affordable and usable.

FILMING & PRODUCTION

Unlike many corporate film providers, Zut has access to leading creative and production professionals from the worlds of film and TV. We offer any format from HD to DVCam, and can also provide all spec of grip and cranes for high-end event coverage.

VISION MIXING

Our solution uses a sophisticated studio-quality vision and audio mixer. The technology allows multiple camera feeds to be managed and mixed onlocation, and for the mixed output to be made ready for the internet, giving a broadcast experience but with the benefits of digital distribution. It can manage up to six inputs, including cameras, graphics or other materials.

ON-LOCATION ENCODING

Encoding is the process of converting an analogue broadcast signal (ie the outputs of the cameras and microphones) to a digital stream. It traditionally takes place after the signals have been distributed via satellite and downlinked to a central location. Onlocation encoding means that only the digital stream is distributed, which is one of the primary drivers behind the cost saving.

EDITING

When more sophisticated output quality is required, we offer full studio editing facilities via our three Avid Media Composer suites. Our editors are accustomed to working on location and to tight deadlines, to guarantee the quality of your webcast.

CONTENT DELIVERY

Whether your webcast is accessed via your website, your clients’ intranets or via our platform, the hosting and streaming is always managed via our servers. This ensures rapid delivery of streams, with minimal buffering and failures. All live webstats are also available as on-demand webcasts, via Zut’s webTV player.

INTERACTIVITY

We believe that web broadcasting should be more than a one way experience – our broadcast solution offers the viewer the opportunity to be part of the presentation by being able to real time chat to the presenter and interact.

ACCESS + SECURITY

Zut’s streaming servers are entirely secure. Accesses to webcasts can be controlled by password, or can be open to anyone who knows the URL. If passwords are used, we can provide detailed reports of who has accessed the webcast. Other interactive elements, such as live polling, are also available.
